They have less than 100 million in sales and a market cap of 3.4 billion. PSR of 34 is very, very expensive. I'll agree they have a great future. Gobs of cash and big backlog.

Cree is not the only blue LED supplier, by a long shot. The technology was invented and first brought to manufacturing in Japan.

Yes, they have a strong position in their niche of the wafer market. I question how long they will be able to sustain their current phenomenal growth rates, though. Their niche simply isn't that big, and eventually it will constrain their growth.
