I wonder if many people are old enough to know that things get worse a lot faster than they get better and that things are never so bad that they can't get worse.

I quite like the 'event horizon' concept of stockmarkets and economies - once they go far enough down, they slip below the event horizon then it is non-stop into the next edition of Hitler et al. Just like the event horizon in celestial black holes.

We are circling down towards the event horizon now and Alan Green$pan better kick in a bit of a booster to get us back into the standard expansionary model of the universe and economics, where happiness rules and light and life exist.

I suppose there is still time. No need to panic folks...

Most 'investors' have never known anything except 'buy the dip' since the oil guzzling USA stockmarkets started the biggest increase in history back in 1981 on the back of rapidly reducing crude oil prices and the beginnings of The New Paradigm.

Well, you can't buy black holes and you can't escape them.
