Gene,

Either Niles has no soul, is a complete idiot, or Simplot and Intel are morons for dumping it like crazy at the current price.

biz.yahoo.com

I vote for the 1st item on that list. MU remains a rape and pillage stock.

gene, the analyst don't quite know how to define "market share." the concept appears to be awful tough for them.

i remember them touting a market share number after the txn purchase that never panned out to this day...

then again, the herd doesn't catch small things - like being wrong forever - anymore... ;-)

25%??? You gotta wonder where Danny Boy comes up with these gems. Dataquest put MU's 1999 DRAM market share at 14.4%; if I recall correctly, IDC put MU at about 16%.
