There's a Boston Globe article which I read in the SF Chron today that says Judge PJ fast fast tracked this whole thing recently, all to do with the Kerberos hijacking.

I can imagine the type of thing going through Judge PJ's mind upon being told that 'Kerberos' is the three headed dog that guards the gates of Hell.

Why would Bill Gates want to make the three headed Hell dog his very own?

Could he be... SATAN??

No Duke. I'm not referring to anything in the DOJ case, because the Kerberos alteration (and altercation) came after the trial. MSFT's actions, however, are instructive and similar to other actions taken that are at the heart of the DOJ case. The MSFT changes to Kerberos, at least according to the Warsh article, are intended to use their domination of the operating system market to encourage or force corporate networks to also use MSFT servers, so that Kerberos will work effectively. This highlights how little Bill and Steve "get it."
