I'm wondering if any of your friends has had any experience with DirectTV or DirectPC. I want to be able to watch CNBC and hook up to the computer while I'm sitting on my boat this summer. Using the cell phone at 9600 is a tad slow. DirectPC claims to be 7 times faster than a 56K modem. I've called DirectTv and can only get recordings, gone into Best Buy, Radio Shack, Circuit City and CompUSA and not one person could answer the question about whether it would work on a boat. I'm hoping someone out there might know something about it.

TIA
