Re: I don't quite understand what you mean by "we were guided to" and "for a split basis". brushwud, In the Q1 conference call AMD said to make earnings estimates for Q2 based on 172 mil shares (not sure if I'm exactly right, but close at least). For a split basis- If we calculate earnings based on 153, 172, or 175 million shares, I'd think that we would base a split on that same amount. What you're telling us is we will be basing Q2 earnings on roughly 175,000,000 shares, but when a split is announced it will be based on roughly 200,000,000 shares. Correct? So 25,000,000 shares have been allocated, but aren't counted in earnings, but will have to be counted for in a split? chic
