Yeah, and I should have been out working in the garden today. But half my jaw is still semi-paralyzed from my surgery, and I was just too lazy. Never finished planting the flats I bought before The Rains came. May is normally my favorite month, but what a disappointment this year! First, a heat wave (over 90 degrees), punctuated by thunderstorms, then days and days of cold and rain...Bah!

Last year, May was so marvellous that I started to daydream about a year-long trip around the world, planned so that I would hit all the different countries just at the time they would be having the equivalent of our May weather. A whole year of nothing but Mays! Yay! I may have to rethink that plan.

Options and auctions? Wow, sounds heavy duty.

As for flutists, be happy yours is a girl. My
flutist was a boy, and when puberty hit, he dropped the flute and picked up the bass guitar. He is still at it (the bass guitar), professionally. Actually, if played well, it can be very beautiful, mellifluous and cello-like, but I did hate to see the flute disappear.
