Thread: Outta here

Okay, so over the past year the theme on this thread has moved from AMD being under water to Manhattan being under water.

I can live with that. After all, change is inevitable. Speaking of change, this morning I begin the process of passing over coverage of most of my semiconductor stocks to my colleague Dan Scovel as I shift my focus to networking. I have enjoyed the public and private exchanges with many of you and have been amazed at the collective intelligence of the participants - it's very clear that the bazaar beats the cathedral (for those of you not familiar with that reference, it's worth the effort to track it down).

It will be interesting to see how a "conservative" approach meshes with a sector like networking. In any event, I'm not ready to walk away from that "buy low, sell high" thing quite yet - it seems to have a certain innate appeal.

Best of luck to all - Tad LaFountain
