the following xau monthly chart (updated as of 5/31/00) shows that the slow stochastics lines are at their lowest points since mid-1986... the stochastic lines also show that they have currently crossed over to the upside.....how low can you get!!!.....:(

It would make sense for ABX to buy out FN.
FN's Ken Synder Mine is on the Carlin Trend just north of the Barrick properties
The biggest source of revenue for FN is their royalties on Barrick's Goldstrike.
Barrick would get another mine and effectively buy back their own royalties.
