OT: I think you misunderstand SUNW. You seem to think they're some kind of Microsoft with a hardware line. --- I'm 80% SUNW and for no other reason than I've studied the company inside out since 1995 and found them to be UNIQUELY in posession of 'vision'. Since that time, I've watched them execute that vision almost flawlessly (bonus). --- Remember 'Goofus and Galant' from Children's Highlights magazine? That's how I see MSFT and SUNW (Gates and McNealy). --- The PC while promoted as personal empowerment ends up meeting REAL personal empowerement with the network. SUNW has no Encarta that it wants to market to consumers. Sun's game isn't about choke points. Sun's vision is WAY beyond that archaic model. There's enough revenue to be had just from the back end (like Cisco) enabling ubiquitous devices (true enablement). --- I think too your characterization of Sun's involvement in the DoJ action as some sort of sour grapes or outside the bounds of fair play is extremely simplistic. -JCJ
