David, If that's an argument, then I surely overestimated your ability at a rational discourse! The first was an expression of unsupported (with either data or rationale) bias, the second a refusal to present any rationale, ever. As for charts, this is what you said: Actually it is you avoiding analysis.... all you need to do is go look at charts of gold prices superimposed on recessions and expansions... And, we were talking of deflation all along, which you patently ignored in your charts talk. Do you understand the difference between inflationary and deflationary recessions, David? Have you ever studied the difference between the Brazilian and Japanese recessions? As for evidence about POG trends during a deflationary recession, how do you think Japanese holders of gold have done over the past decade? -BGR. PS: Now I know why professional money managers perform so horribly!
