thinking out of the box about golf courses, the highest and best use for the land may not be golf courses. if i remember my geography right, usable land is scarce in japan-- so if sftbf acquires a lot of golf courses at pennies on the dollars, it ought to be able to develop them, or at leats some of them, into something other than golf courses. do any of you asia hands know of come reason why they can't be switched from golf courses to higher and better uses? these golf courses could be a gold mine in disguise.
