I'll keep you posted, though I may not be the best source since my trading in that account will probably be somewhat sparse. I know what you mean about multiple accounts, though I'd love to consolidate. Keeping track of all the paperwork is such a pain (although Fidelity among others now will store all confirmations electronically which helps if you can trust it). Funny, I was just thinking about Schwab again, who was the first online broker I used years ago. I think they have higher levels of service for big accounts, but it was interesting to hear what Mark had to say.

I use Fidelity, TOTD. They're okay although the website totally stalls to snail pace during fast markets. But then you can call up a Spartan broker (thats frequent trader's desk) and do by phone. Another problem, if you do it on the web your trades are automatically directed to CBOE and so you don't always get the best bid/ask.

I just didn't have my act together to switch to Wall Street Access, which supposedly gives the best service for options. Now, Elder talks about getting the cheapest commissions and why...OTOH if you continaully get 1/4 point or better from Wall Street Access (i.e. they themselves route your trade tot he best exchange without askign you) you save on commissions. The reason I waited is they are not downloadable to Quicken yet and I never want to input all my trades again like I did for tax season this April. I'd much rather have them all downloadable. Apparently they will be some time this summer.
