IBM has problems in a segment of their business, but INTC
has problems, like delivering not what it promised in itïs core business.

They are delivering tons of PIIIs and Celerons. They're not core?

IMO AMD has now more Upside value for the next 6-12 month
from an investment point.

Fine, you buy it. I personally have problems buying into a company whose CEO is a sleaze.

The PPRO was not a success,

It got Intel into the server business, which is growing faster percentage wise than the desktop. It paved the way for Xeons, which continue to be the only processor that is used in industry standard servers. I call that a SCREAMING success.

Rambus? The jury is still out on it, IMO.

Ulrich,

RMBS has design problems, which prevent it
from beeing a cheap solution

Would you please be kind enough to tell me what these design problems are?
