The W,

Can you tell me how much profits were derived from these divisions last year?

Can you tell us how long AMD has been making money on microprocssors? Has it been more than 2 quarters?

John

TWY, >"Intel is growing their network, broadband and wireless
divisions at 50% per year, which, if it continues, comes out to $10 billion in revenues projection for them in 2003."

Can you tell me how much profits were derived from these divisions last year?

Good question. It didn't come up at the stockholders' meeting, or I missed it (don't think so). Barrett didn't address it along with his recent prediction of 50% per year on comm revs. It seems to me that companies are breaking out details more on non-core divisions lately (or at least the companies I follow are). Maybe Intel will spring with more details on non-CPU at the next CC or analysts' meeting.
