rE: "Can you tell us how long AMD has been making money on microprocssors? Has it been more than 2 quarters?"

Mine was a SERIOUS question without regard to AMD. I am long both Intel and AMD. A CPU slowdown will hurt Intel as well as AMD. AMD could realize some huge gains if they can even marginally penetrate the corporate desktop and server business. (all at the expense of Intel) Quite frankly, I have been disappointed at Intel's inability to even break even on any of these other new business initiatives. I would like to see each new business clearly differentiated in the quarterly earnings report. I think they won't/don't do this now because they mostly all lose money.
