For the record......the hub is not musical, he has just spent a fortune at the music stores...(only rivaled by Lost1!!) The game was good......it is a Double AA team, very small stadium.....and an ever more sparse crowd. Some of the guys in the section I was in, were having a blast heckling the players. I had taken 2 of my sons and one of their friends. We had front row seats on the first base line.....(my kids are sooooo spoiled) Anyway, my son's friend got a ball. Then one of the players threw another one into the section. Well the group got silly.....then the heckler spied me reading a book...<rolling eyes...LOL> The announced it to the entire section...yelling....."Hey you down front...put that book down, your setting a bad example for the kids." Or....."Hey mom, at least look like your having a good time for the kids sake" Mind you, I do like baseball and was having a good time, I just have a multi-tasking personality!! So then all these guy are yelling..."So are you at least a GOOD part of the book??? another yells....."Are you reading a romance novel" So then they started guessing....."Is that one of those Fabio novels??" To which I replied and emphatic NO WAY...Another yell..."Is it Danielle Steel??" I said..."NO" Then another guy goes, "I know I bet it is about baseball. Yeah that must be it. Let me guess your reading the Mark McGwire story??" I said..."Yeah that must be it, as story about baseball.....but not about Mark.....but The Dave Draveky Story." And with that someone scored and the conversation ended.....it was rather funny. (Maybe it loses something in the retelling..) All and all......My boys and I had a good time. The kids got some autographs after the game. They wanted to get the Pitchers autograph, as he will probably be called up later this week. smiles Jane
