Scumbria...re:This thread needs some mood stabilizers.

Scumbria...Paul has shown back up and needs his lithium. Elmer hasn't posted this much since he lost his crack pipe, he must have found it. Kash is frustrated cause he can never purchase AMD at a lower price and always gets left behind. I never believed the 1.5 Ghz Thunderbird was available rumor, so who cares. Intel still can't produce a 1 GHz processor in any meaningful quantities so they are the ones trailing.

If this were a game of poker; Paul, Elmer, and Kash would all be on their last few dollars. Let them rant about a disappointing release, but their pitiful attempts at moving the stock will probably be all for naught.

Regards
Ed P.

Re: "I recommend an organic diet of mostly raw fruits and vegetables. Sushi is also good, but try to avoid Salmon from Monterey Bay (because of the mercury concentrations.)"

I spent the last week in Santa Cruz and I consumed huge quantities of salmon, presumably from Monterey Bay. I don't know where the beer originated.

Re: "AMD is kicking Intel's butt at the high end, and we are starting to see volumes of AMD processors going into business systems."

AMD is not kicking anybody's butt. They are doing fairly well, despite today's major disappointments. Way too much hype could only lead to the inevitable letdown. In fact you called it. You told everybody that they shouldn't expect much improvement from Cu and you told them they shouldn't expect much improvement from on-die L2. For once you were right. Too bad they got so caught up in their own hype. Where are those 1.5 GHz T-Birds anyway? Let's hope AMD will withold product and "build inventory"<GGG>.
