"Alcatel understands these challenges. Our VoP portfolio offers differentiated converged voice data services today. The VoP platform can grow and evolve with the needs of our customers." A driver in open-standard acceptance, Alcatel actively participates in many standards bodies, such as the International SoftSwitch Consortium, The ATM Forum, and the IN Forum. This open-standard solution is being implemented in the Signaling Server. Additionally, Alcatel is participating in interoperability testing with a consortium of equipment providers to standardize SS7 over IP networks.
