<The last time the $C was worth more than the $US was around November 1976. It moved down to almost 70 cents by early 1986, bounced back to almost 90 cents by late 91, then resumed its downtrend hitting 63.7 cents in August 1998> Ah, yes, I remember getting 1.05 for my American buck while buying orange crush at the CBC store 1/2 way through my paper route in Eastern Manitoba.... that was great. Well now I'm back and look what my bucks worth today! We got a great deal on some property in the Gulf Islands of BC and my son can hopefully get the local paper-route when he's old enough. Can't think of a better place to put my money, Canada! DAK
