It would appear that the thread has become the forum of choice, for people who are heavily invested in SUNW, to gloat and to try to turn up the fear and uncertainty factor regarding MSFT. Possibly they have an axe to grind. Unfortunately, you can't just ignore them. When what they are saying is partially true or just their humble opinions or a flat out lie, someone must step forward to point out the errors (thank you rudedog, sunspot and margie most recently). Otherwise folks who don't know much about MSFT or SUNW can only assume that what they say is the uncontested truth.

I would like to thank all the sincere contributors to this thread for sharing their thoughts both pro and con. Back to lurking.

Steve

On a more positive note, I keep reading news articles that state that Intel and AMD can't keep up with demand for their processors. Memory makers are also having trouble keeping up with demand. How many of these processors do you think will be running on MSFT operating systems and using microsoft applications? Should be a good quarter for MSFT.

Insitu, The MSFT only relevant postings will come when PW,Brian,T2,JFD,VG,Ibexx,Yacov,etc.. become active posters again. They are hybernating as is the stock. JC Jaros, CT, JH etc.. are either short or short term traders or some may have an ax to grind against MSFT (such as JC's statement that the purpose (he/she) being here is so see an orderly transformation of capital from MSFT to SUNW.)

Having said that, where is "ed"? Was predicting 400 on MSFT by end of the year.
