"Les, I am concerned about WSJ's hypothetical electrician who now has a one day backlog of orders ( from 15 ).
How significant is this?" That is interesting,,I spoke with a civil engineer today who works for a firm in Mrytle Beach SC.,the area has been booming for years, he mentioned in the last few months they have slowed significantly(from 60 hr wk weeks, back to 40hrs). Thought this was interesting because I see their work as forward looking(large commercial development planning),no question rising rates (and fuel prices)are taking effect, and IMO, real estate prices have topped.DD
PS: he also mentioned they are now running 4 survey crews as opposed to the 7 they had been running..That's a pretty large % drop
