Ken,

I'm curious whether you tested the same 5e/8s combination on other time frames, such as 30 min and 15 min. Since my chart service (myTrack) cannot do more than 30 minute bars, I've looked at the stocks of interest here on 30 minute charts. By eye it seems that when things are going well on 60 minute bars, 30 minutes is good also. There is the advantage of getting signals a bit sooner on reversals for shorter times, as long as it does not lead to many "bad" signals on "noise". 30 minutes would take care of that shorter last time period of the day problem some folks have mentioned.

My question is not meant to suggest you should try something new to dabble with what is working. I'm just wondering if you ever made this comparison when you were finding the 5e/8s system and if there is a significant difference.

Dan
