What I'm talking about is ...something like this-off the top my head where it should probably stay...([R&D cost]+ [technology & company value]) x [supply of the technology available]x [global demand of said technology in order to remain a business in 21st century]= proper value example=5 billion cash for VRIO and all the other companies that offer the niche needed for global businesses to transform. The only similarity to gold is the limited supply,there is something on a much larger scale here regarding proven R&D. I'm talking the 2nd and 3rd tier niche technology companies.
