I was listening to Digital Jam last night and they had an interview with John Gage of SUNW. He was hawking JAVA ubiquity and was asked about displays being the cost hangup for internet appliances at present. I assume that if this vision (of internet appliances everywhere) is right, OLED's should figure in prominently.

So far I have a little EMA and a little CPCL (they've made OLED drivers). I suppose a little PANL wouldn't hurt but I'm afraid that it's the big boys that are going to take the ball and run with it.

That certainly qualifies as a gamble!

Came up heads today.

Who knows? Luminescent prints could become a fad. Look what happened with gel pens a while ago. Maybe adults will go for paper. On second thought, they should target the kids. <g>

I got my first set of prints back from The New New New New Thing, Shutterfly, a couple days ago. Color rendition is excellent - better than my monitor. I suppose I could match them by adjusting the color profile for the monitor; nah, too much work...

Maybe Advanced Lumitech can get one of the digital photo print services to offer Brightec as an option. That would be a good application for it, imo.
