WAMEX Holdings, Inc. Announces Retention of Christof Wessely as Chief of Information Technology -CIT- NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2000--WAMEX Holdings Inc. (OTC BB:WAMX), an internet and technology company dedicated to creating and dominating an alternative market and exchange for individuals and institutional investors, today announced that it has retained Mr. Christof Wessely as Chief of Information Technology. Christof Wessely joined WAMEX in 1997 and was the Senior Database Designer at WAMEX. He left WAMEX in October of 1999 for personal reasons. He was responsible for the technical design, functionality and implementation of the Company's software and database management platform. Prior to that, Mr. Wessely served as the CEO of SPW Inc., a software consulting and database design corporation in Austria. Mr. Wessely has 14 years of computer programming experience and is widely known in the Central European Investment Banking community for his work on theoretical design. Mr. Wessely was credited with the design and development of the Database Management System for BB, the government Federal Rail Service in Austria and Medek and Schrner, one of Europe's leading suppliers of telecommunications. Additionally, he was responsible for the design and implementation of the Online Secure System, the most secure measure of real time data compression, encryption and decryption in Europe. Mr. Wessely designed and developed AIDE, the Artificial Intelligence Dialog Engine CD-ROM game for children that is sold worldwide. His work on the project for I-Motion in Austria won the Austrian Research Ministry's highest award for excellence. From 1990 to 1994 Mr. Wessely served as a Database Designer for ORACLE. He is credited with the design of the technical database for BEGAS (Burgenlandische Gaswerke), the government gas company in Eastern Austria. Prior to 1990, Mr. Wessely designed Database Systems for cable television and Internet companies. Mr. Wessely designs anti-hacking software. In addition, he speaks German, French and English fluently.
