Well Stefaan, this is exactly the point. Even if tgen goes to 100 (kick self repeatedly) you've got 100+ % return with bond-like safety. I also had a few K shares long from around 8 or 9 that I sold yesterday and this morning. I'm sticking with the tgen leverage, although I'm not happy with the water depth. It is shallower today, no?. So far TGEN has done well for me long and short term. My leverage pattern is full at the moment or I might have done more today, the 12.5's were still getting 6- not great but OK, likely to return 50% to maturity IMO.

I do notice the puts and calls lately are often not well priced and offer a LOT of good arb potential.

LOL, I'm hardly a master at this, Stefaan. Gifted amateur perhaps? Many like DAK have far more experience for example.

Yes, I was planning to go to Koln in May and then on to Heidelberg for Stem Cell but had to cancel as we were moving the company that exact week. Bad timing. Now I am working on an FDA meeting and then probably will go to Koln in July. Are you around?

As a friend from the brokerage house DLJ used to say "the best investment is a good job". So I think you are well situated.

ivolatility.com

This new option site looks very useful, with enough HVs and IVs to keep the aficionado engrossed for hours. They offer a free low-hassle 2 month trial.

A caveat: The one time I tried to access the site during market hours, I soon had to access the power switch on my computer. I haven't had any problems at night.

The site was recommended in Barron's option column a couple of weeks ago; it may not have been prepared to handle the subsequent load. A rare example of finding something quite useful in that column / paper.

Nothing bio about the site, it's for options in general.
