Elmer, Agreed. Both your points are possibilities, but I think both are unlikely. Less than 50% chance each (IMO). Via may eventually get there, but I don't think it will be before Q2 2001. They have more business now than they can handle. They are smart enough in allocating their resources to have the best chip for the highest volume platform. As far as a secret internal project is concerned, normally, the chipsets are open secrets. Everybody knows about them. I think there would have to be more smoke before I would take it as a likely possibility. Joe
