CBOE To List LEAPS On Intuit, Verticalnet Friday.

CHICAGO -(Dow Jones)- The Chicago Board Options Exchange will list
long-term equity anticipation securities, known as LEAPS, on Intuit Inc.
(INTU) and Verticalnet Inc. (VERT) on Friday.
In a press release Thursday, the exchange said initial strike prices
for Intuit are 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55, with expirations in January 2002
and January 2003.
Initial strike prices for Verticalnet are 30, 40 and 50, with
expirations in January 2002 and January 2003.
Strike prices are subject to change based on the price of the
underlying security.
Year-to-date volume in Equity LEAPS at the close of May totaled
8,809,731 contracts. CBOE lists LEAPS on a total of 322 traded equities.
