heinz, >>overseas economies actually show accelerating growth I believe inflation is "real". Energy touches just about everything that we purchase and use. Employees should be expecting raises in incomes to cover these costs and will keep the inflation spiral moving. My concern is that if the rest of the world has been depending on the US consumer for their financial health just how does this play in the equation when and if the US economy slows down. Joan
