values are relative.... you cannot necessarily say it is cheaper in the US vs somewhere else unless you take into consideration pay scales, social benefits etc.... which by the way...regarding the last....we have none in comparison to the huge tax burden we carry compared to the same tax burden say in Germany... in japan, for a visitor spending dollars and earning dollar salary...it's an impossible expense but not necessarily if you are earning a relative Japanese salary and benefits... J
