Ten,

Like RMBS, AMD has also done better than some of the technical people on the threads had anticipated.

I'm certainly not going to point any fingers.

Tenchusatsu, these threads are best used for the data and the technical information. It should be up to each individual to decide where a stock fits in their portfolio, if at all.

Ten,

You are dead on target with that comment. RMBS is currently the only pure memory play in the market. It has licensed products ramping exponentially as a result of Sony and Intel. The revenue and profits provide the fundamentals for the stock.

There is no DDR pure play in the market and no platforms based on DDR. There is nothing to discuss from an investment point of view about these other prospective product technologies. The matter can be picked up again when there is a real product based on another technology.

This is "Silicon Investor," not "Tom's Hardware Guide." The ultimate goal is to make money on stocks.

I thought the goal of SI was to learn more about a company and debate its merits, allowing a person to better evaluate a trade...

Incidently I notice you started investing in 1995... And you don't invest for a living... And you're how old? Nuff said...
