If the breakup of Microsoft comes to pass, and Gates can only control no more than 5% of both companies, does that mean he will "automaticly" gain much more of one of the companies, or will he get equal amounts of both companies but be required to sell most his holdings in one of the new entities? If Gates gets all his ownership in one of the companies, then how would the ownership be divided among the other shareholders?
