TP: This restriction itself is enough to throw the entire decision out. Totally arbitrary and confiscatory and costly in terms of private property rights. JFD

Good question. I assume he'll have to file a Registration Statement and sell the shares in the other company (likely the Windows company) in the open market. The fact that he'll have to choose one company obviously has an impact on the rest of us. Who among us wants to be left with shares in the company that Bill doesn't choose. Just guessing.
