Looks like a Denmark company is supplying the battery for the new Compaq handheld. Who are these guys? The technology is LiCo but I guess the safety issue is not a concern<VBG>. BTW their WEB site also shows a Cobalt based Li-Poly large format laptop battery. Go figure. Someone should tell Lev that someone is in fact making a large format Cobalt battery.

Danionics battery in the new unique Compaq iPAQ

may 17, 2000

Compaq?s new iPAQ H3600 Pocket PC will be the worlds first
handheld computer equipped with advanced, rechargeable
batteries from Danionics in Odense, Denmark. The battery is
a lithium-ion polymer battery allowing the battery to be only
3 millimetres thick and still offering the customer 950 mAh of
capacity.

Following many years of intensive research and
development Danionics A/S is now ready to market their new
high-tech battery.

The battery is developed using a brand new technology
based on lithium-ion polymers that makes it possible to
obtain a very high and long-lasting effect even from small,
light and individually shaped batteries.

Danionics has worked together with Compaq for several years
and when the requirement came for an ultra-slim battery
Danionics was pleased to get the opportunity to supply this
product to Compaq representing a breakthrough for our
technology.

The international IT and telecommunication markets are
showing a great interest in the new battery according to
Danionics.

You don't have a clue little guy. On the one hand it is said that ignorance is bliss. Score one for you. On the other hand, I can't imagine how difficult it would be being in your shoes and struggling for an independent and original thought. Sharp thinker you are not.

Eli74,

As a matter of fact, I didn't think poor 'ol MGV was referring to me at all.

But thanks for the "MGV Investment Performance Refresher"...

Cheers. (Still long, and expecting to take delivery of some June 5 calls next week that I bought for $ 3.00 and change last fall.)

jim g's little brother - Just getting around to reading your altered message. In it you cry out for advice. Here is what you missed. QCOM - covered calls at 645, bought at split adjusted 38. AGIL sold with a 15% loss. LGTO sold in the mid 40s with almost a triple from April 99. SGNT went to 45, sold at 34 avg. for almost a double. SONE sold 1/2 at 95, covered calls on the rest. LVCI sold at roughly 10% loss. Be decisive ellie and make independent judgements. I see VLNC remains over 60% down and acting more like an interest rate sensitive stock than technology.
