"it appears you need to get out more"

"Re: McNealy, Ellison
Larry Ellison and Scott McNealy have both been saying that the network is the computer and MSFT's OS is unnecessary for years now. However, when I first began looking for a portable terminal which could hook up to the internet, Apple's Newton was virtually the only choice, and but for it's $1000 price tag, it would have looked appealing. In fact the only choice I had was a MSFT CE operating system with a modem, not because they stifled competition, but because nobody else came to market with something I wanted. Yet all we hear, and continue to hear, is how MSFT stifles competition. Nonsense. Where were McNealy and Ellison with their products?.......they were too busy bad-mouthing Gates and MSFT. Rhetoric is easy; real products are difficult. MSFT provided me with a real option where others did not. Not rhetoric just the facts."

So how is this guy "losing money" and "losing time" because of Microsoft? I don't need to get out more.
