Sunspot, what a bunch of drivel. IBM runs on AIX (natch), GM and Silicon Investor on Solaris and Yahoo on FreeBSD. Apache, btw, runs on Windows NT too. GNU is a bunch of porting tools and UI widgets although they have providing a legal model for open source licensing. As for large commercial implmentations of Linux, no facts again eh, Sunspot. As for porting: which Unix, which Linux, doning what, games? Therein lies the rub.
