I would have thought that after the prior experience he would know better than to send someone else to the meeting-if indeed that is the cause. What you are inferring here is that there is only one guy in the company that can adequately explain the companies products and strategy. If that is the case, I think you should seriously reconsider owning the stock at all. I like to buy companies where even the guy in the mail room is on the same page and can explain what's going on, don't you?
