minnow68...Ironically enough, now that AMD is selling for five times our original investment, I no longer view AMD as a once in a lifetime investment. I'm still bullish. I still think it might go up another 2-5 times by the end of the year. But, IMHO, for people investing in the stock now, AMD is no longer a once in a lifetime stock.

Mike

I agree Mike, the easiest money has been made in the stock. I believe AMD still has 2 to 10 times runnup possibilities for the next 2-3 years, but the swings will get harder to time and the retracements in the future may not be followed by such exuberant comebacks (I lucked out on those June calls). Now AMD is nothing but just a great stock to own.

So, Mike...any ideas on the next "once in a lifetime stock"?

The more I analyse these tech stocks it becomes apparent just how mush time and effort it takes to know the sector reasonably well, then each players position in the sector, then try to figure out who's going to do what going forward.

Some any suggestion would be appreciated...and from anyone that knows any other sectors well...
