Reconstitution Fact Sheet ? 2000 Frank Russell Company issued June 9 its preliminary lists of companies to be added and deleted from the ranking of stocks that make up its U.S. equity indexes. For details, see related news release. Frank Russell Company will rebalance its 21 U.S. stock indexes in an annual process scheduled to be complete July 1. This "reconstitution" process results in newly adjusted stock composition for all Russell U.S. stock indexes, effective with the start of the third quarter. russell.com

BLS Conspiracy question--Monday's IBD had quotes from 4 different economists who seemed to think Friday's PPI was "consistant with tame inflation." I also heard an economist on Bloomberg who thought the PPI was okay. Are these folks also involved in this conspiracy? And why would BLS feel the need to do it now? the NAZ is up 800 points from its low...so we had a bad number, it may cost us 200 points, big deal, a normal retrace...and nobody cares about the election until after Labor Day. If they were gonna cook it, they would wait, no?
