I think you are referring to STAC compression software. I don't that is the same as disk drivers. There were several programs sold to compress and defrag memory, not hard drives. I think one was called Windrenaline, and one was Hurricane. Supposedly they would manage memory better then windows and drasticaly increase performance. I think actual results where that they slightly increased speed for some programs, and slightly decreased it for others and that overall they did very little. Tim
