QVC 6/10/00 - 11:36 PM... drive, i put my disk in that i want to store into this drive right here. I take my music cd or whatever it is and put it in. When i close that drive and then put a disk in the cd r. W. Drive, just like a dual tape deck, you can take from one drive to the next. If you do not have two drives, this is a very difficult process and the cd r. W., It's much more difficult. Pionex has thought of everything. >> They sure did. Here's the rundown on what we are offering at this point for the next two -- 24 minutes and also for the next 24 people. E-11444. The a. M.D. Athlon, 900 megahertz. So you have speed. You have the 20 gigabyte hard drive. Tremendous storage capacity. And the 128 megs of ram. The 12 times dvd rom, the cdrd drive. And a dual drive allows you to do the copying directly from cd to cd. Also there's an internet keyboard, there's the scroll mouse. There are the al tech lansing speakers. The 3-d sound card. We haven't gone through all the software included with this package. Very nice. And carol will now point out the software and the 17" monitor that is...

Pete,

I think my estimate for Dresden is similar to yours (except yield, where you may be a little too optimistic), but I think we have a difference of opinion on Austin.

Regarding .15u capability, I don't know it the equipment there has that capability. Until we know, we can't count it. Your yield here is again on the high side, and I don't think it is realistic to expect 100% CPU. There will be some outsourcing, but it will not be complete, and some lines may be down due to conversions. Given this, my estimate for # of dice per wafer would be in 150 range, far lower than your 270 to 300, and wafer starts less than 500 per week.

As far as 2nd clean room in Dresden, it would be a great news, but until (and if) AMD announces it, there is no point in counting it in output.

But even with my optimistic number of 56 million units, we would surpass the 30% unit market share, with total world demand at 150 to 160 million units, giving AMD 35 to 37%.
