Since my TRS-80 days there has been a continuous flow of numerous programs and applications and there will be more to come in the months and years ahead.

Scumbria, It is not clear to me that anyone needs DDR or DRDRAM on their desktop, at current processor speeds. LOL! Nice backpedaling! And how long will current processor speeds remain current processor speeds? You may think RDRAM is ahead of the curve, but how bad would the transition have been for Intel if they had waited until RDRAM was really needed and then tried to cut it in (given the chipset/ramping problems we've seen with the new technology)? Better to get the bugs worked out before it's really required. Dave
