hello everyone,

i've got 50 CDs each with 150-200 MP3s (um...yeah...of course i own all of the original CDs). what i need is an easy way to print out the contents of each CD. ideally, for each CD i'd like a list of all of the filenames on one sheet of paper.

i'm getting a brain cramp trying to think of a simple method.

is there an "output to file" option in DOS for the DIR command?

tia,
fred

that's a very generous offer on your part. except it looks like windows2000 pro can be had for substantially less than the $319 you were quoted. depending on whether you get the upgrade or full version, i see prices of $165 and $240 at buy.com. and it looks like $70 rebates are available to previous NT users. so what's that come to after rebate? $95 and $170?

still a good deal
