Flexion grows the BusinessGuardian X300

Flexion Systems, a provider of managed business solutions today
announced a high density rackmount version of its recently launched
BusinessGuardian X300 significantly increases telephone extension
capacity from 32 to 112. The high density version will be available in
the European and US markets from August 2000 through Flexion's network
of Authorised Resellers.

The increase in capacity will enable a wider range of small to medium
sized enterprises to benefit from BusinessGuardian's new style telephony
solution that combines voice and data communications with powerful
network management and business applications.

The rack mount chassis includes dual power supplies for redundancy,
providing the user with a greater level of reliability. The product's
compact design also means that it can be comfortably located in a
standard communications cupboard.

Says Andrew Bale, president and CEO of Flexion Systems, "Many SMEs are
experiencing exponential growth. But their success is often dependent on
their ability to deploy really professional communications solutions.
The rack mount version of the BusinessGuardian X300 allows us to reach a
far greater proportion of those businesses who are looking to compete
with major corporations and who use their IT and telecoms systems to
give them the edge."

Flexion has also increased the versatility of the BusinessGuardian
X300 through the introduction of ATM-based (Asynchronous Transfer Mode)
broadband services. This development gives users access to multiple high
bandwidth services on demand.

Bale notes, "On demand services are particularly cost efficient for
small businesses because users only pay for the bandwidth and services when they need them."

BusinessGuardian Authorised Reseller, Kevin Meager from European
Systems Exchange, comments, "Firms with 60 plus potential users often
have much the same communications needs as firms in the 10 - 60 bracket.
The new version of the X300 means that we can reach a much larger market
segment than we could previously, which is great news for us."

BusinessGuardian X300

The X300 is built on an open and scalable hardware platform that works
in conjunction with a Windows NT-based environment. The X300 delivers
unified messaging, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and other
powerful business applications in addition to full PBX functionality.
Designed to take advantage of the converging public voice and data
infrastructures, the X300 gives the small business all the tools they
need to succeed at a price significantly lower than other competitive
offerings.

Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is the world's largest wholesale provider of

"With the addition of Flexion's BusinessGuardian solution to our product
portfolio, we are able to provide an end-to-end solution to the SMB technology
solution provider," said Sally Stanton, general manager of the Converging
Technologies Group, Ingram Micro U.S. "We are focused on delivering the right
products and services to help SMB enterprise resellers provide integrated voice
and data communications solutions to meet the growing demand in this market."

The Flexion-Ingram Micro agreement demonstrates the companies' strong
commitment to building a bridge between SMBs and convergence resellers and
Service Providers. Through these relationships the SMB end user can receive
everything from a dial tone to integrated voice and data communications.
