Have you ever noticed how many communities claim to have "one of the best school systems in the nation"?

There is a massive con job going on out there. I have tried w/o success to find school rankings.

This past weekend I heard John McLaughlin say that the US is now spending four times per student what competitor nations do.

Our schools seem immune from both results and any kind of economic efficiency as the Dems and their bankrollers from the "education spending lobby" continue to spike reason with emotion as they promote their greedy interests of ever more spending to the detriment - no - outright opposition of real reform. This unholy alliance between the Dems and the education lobby is the primary impediment to better public education in the US.

Once again, as in most things from gun "control" to the death penalty and abortion, our hugely partisan Dem/liberal news media promotes public ignorance to defeat reason.
