Couple of new "news",

First the bad, "The CPUs that AMD fabbed out of their Austin, Texas, plant run OK," said one industry insider. "Those from their new Dresden, Germany, fab have some problems."

What the heck is this all about??????? Any comments? This may actually explain why AMD has been a bit heavy lately.

This one is better

"We can ship about 22 million parts that support AMD CPUs this year," said Wen Chi Chen, Via's president. A Via spokesman said the company has already secured foundry capacity with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. through the end of this year.

Here is the whole story,

OT- Drudge, now there's an objective and unbiased source for you, Joe. I'm sure he carefully labels opinions as such, too.

Cheers, Dan.
