The possibility of convicting an innocent person is VERY material to the administration of justice and YOU said it wasn't. The whole point of our system is to try to prevent the innocent from being convicted. You clearly do not understand our system of justice, if you think it is immaterial that innocent people get convicted. Now it is true that mistakes cannot be prevented in all cases- which is my whole point AND the reason I am against the death penalty. If the State is going to make mistakes when it punishes people, at least let it not be killing those people.
