I'll check that.....I may have to have my son do it and he is caddying today. But that's the best lead I've had so far.

Never realized what a hassle this was going to be. Turned out the reason why I was not able to log onto the Internet until last night was because the provider did not recognize the Ethernet card. Had to swap out the new one and replace it with the old one.

This stuff gets more and more sensitive as time goes on, you know?

It seems that fix may be for the Zip Drive, not the Zip CD R/W Drive.

I'll have to wait for my son, I suppose. I can't tell. One thing I do know, I'm getting tired of sitting around unable to do anything. I can't even write checks, as all my data is locked up on the CDs.

I wish Mac was the machine of choice. It is so much easier to get up and running on a Macintosh. Every time I add hardware or replace a machine I go through a week of downtime, it seems.
