Right, if its a cable modem. I think you have to use a 10mb lan card. But if you do nat the cards connecting your network can be 100mb.

Pat...swap out the CD drive from the OLD machine into the new one...should be easy and will install automtically...install all your stuff from old CD's..then swap it back or add a CHEAP cd drive to the new one...40 bucks or less!!

I use this Sybergate software...works great for sharing the cable modem. Have not messed with Win2000 yet...
